George Jacobs

Mr. Jacobs was born in 1947 in the heart of New York City, on today's Roosevelt Island. Over the past 60 years, George has been retained for a wide variety of photographic assignments covering architectural, fashion, theater and news photography. George’s June 2000 show, titled “Partially Denuded Bone”, marks his latest one-person show that diverges from “representational” photography to conceptual photography-the photography of the invisible, the imaginary, and the surreal.
