Ebanks

Hailing from Honduras, Darla Ebanks embarked on her artistic journey after moving to the United States in 1967. Her passion for art was kindled during her youth, as she often found solace and expression in the doodles that filled
her school notebooks. While her classroom paintings garnered accolades from her teachers, support

from her family was limited, with her sister being a notable exception. Darla's artistic endeavors paused at the age of 11, only to be passionately reignited in 2001.

Despite her deep engagement with painting and the intensive days she dedicated to her pieces, Darla initially kept her art hidden, harboring doubts about its worthiness for public display. It was only when her friends expressed concern over her frequent absences that Darla courageously revealed her
collection of artworks. Over the years, she had amassed a significant portfolio, with no intention of ceasing her creative pursuits.
